Bauman Technology Valley

A vivid example of an urban development featuring a floating roof, crumpled curtain wall systems, and a unique pattern of transparent planes. It includes a variety of buildings — halls and dormitories of the Moscow State Technical University, an innovation hub, a congress centre, and an amphitheatre — all united by a common concept. The ALUTECH solutions employed in this project addressed several critical challenges faced by the Pride architectural bureau:

• visual lightness and aesthetics: the ALT F50 SG structural facade was chosen to achieve the desired visual lightness, creating a «labyrinth of mirrors» effect with the closely situated «glass» buildings. This is further enhanced by accents of yellow or silver metal;


• high foot traffic management: given the university’s high student traffic, large-format ALT W72 HD doors were implemented for the entrance groups. Their generous dimensions significantly improve comfort and prevent crowding during peak times;


• conducive learning and rest environment: ALT F50 facade windows, designed as floor-to-ceiling units, contribute to an atmosphere conducive to learning and relaxation. They effectively insulate classrooms and dormitory rooms from street noise, allowing students to focus;


• durable and harmonious entrance groups: to ensure reliable entrance groups, ALT W72 SGD structural doors were used alongside the large-format doors. These doors are designed to withstand intensive use and seamlessly integrate with the structural curtain wall systems, maintaining a consistent aesthetic.

In summary, ALUTECH’s solutions were instrumental in creating a unique and modern complex that meets contemporary requirements for comfort and visual aesthetics.
